No wood*, and not all items are adjusted for red wood as an alternative. with the caveat that drat, this zone is inconvenient as hell and you have to work around that.

It takes the concept of having a walled fortress and then asks you to double down on that, as leaving your base for ANYTHING becomes a nightmare.
